Manager

I think I have loved animals as long as I can remember.

I graduated with a veterinary technician degree and am certified in pet nutrition and pet first aid. I worked for the Randolph County Humane Society for four years before finding my home here at Three Tails in Waterloo in 2016.

Working with the animals here gives me great joy - almost as much as spending time at home with my own four-legged family members and my husband, Joseph.

Kacey

Groomer

I have been grooming dogs and developing my personal grooming style since I earned my certification through PetSmart Grooming Academy in 2019.

I like to keep up with the latest trends and techniques in the grooming industry to make sure my clients are always looking their best! I really enjoy working with the curly-coated dogs because it is always fun finding new ways to keep them stylish and comfortable.

When I’m not spending time with my four-legged customers, I can usually be found with my fiance and our beagle mix, Honey, at home in Belleville.

Manager

I have always loved animals so it only made sense to find a job where I can help pets live long and happy lives.

My main goal is helping pet owners keep their four-legged family members healthy and happy. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

I have been with Three Tails / Waterloo Feed and Supply since February 2018. Working for a small town family-owned business allows me to build strong connections with our clients and their furry family members.

My daughter, Emersyn, is an animal lover just like me. We have three dogs and two cats….for now!

KT

Groomer

Even though I’ve been a groomer for five years, I am still constantly trying to improve the services I offer to my clients and their owners.

I specialize in specific breed cuts, and I am certified in Pet First Aid, CPR and dog behavior. I enjoy taking continuing education classes and learning about dog behavior.

I have been working with dogs since I was a volunteer at age 16. I currently own two Pit Bull mixes and foster another. I will take in any dog in need, give them a home and nurture them into a great pet.

Amanda

Groomer

I specialize in hand-scissoring poodles, doodles and shuhs at the Waterloo salon. I have been grooming dogs for 20 years but my love of dogs goes far beyond my job.

I have been doing rescue work with Kennelwood Pet Rescues since 1994. I’ve met many great people through this organization and rescued five dogs, a few chickens and even some lizards!

I guess there’s no denying that I’m an animal lover through and through.

Cary

Groomer

I have been a dog groomer since 2018 and love being part of the Three Tails family.

I found my way here after attending cosmetology school….but I just couldn’t deny my passion for animals. I went back to school at PetSmart Grooming Academy and became a certified groomer. I specialize in scissoring.

I grew up on my grandma’s cattle farm in Hillsboro, Mo. We always had cats, dogs, horses and bottle fed calves.

I learned to ride horses at the age of two and showed horses all my life. As I got older I joined the rodeo circuit doing barrel riding. I qualified for many finals and won several championships while traveling the U.S.

These days I love to spend time at home crafting and spending time with my daughter, son and granddaughters. And of course, my cats, Loki and Violet, and hamster, Cashew!
